Monthly Game Update #1

So, for starters, I've updated the game page with actual gameplay screenshots from the release build (instead of the dev build). So the screenshots are now clean with no debug logs. I've also finished the Ted the Caver gameplay.

Some key points to get across so far.

1. The gameplay has turned out shorter (at the moment) than my target goal of 15 minutes (it's a little over 10 minutes, can reach 15 if the player explores a bit).

2. The gameplay still needs some finishing touches. There just minor things I should be able to get done in a timely manner.

3. Since this version of the game will not be going to stores (such as steam), I will be starting from scratch with the next story I include. I'm doing this to reduce file size and because I've gained more confidence as a game dev/designer. I used an expensive plugin for much of the gameplay for this one and realized I could've done everything the plugin did for me myself.

4. Finally, after this month, whatever is done for this Ted the Caver demo is all I'll be doing. I personally don't see a good reason to polish this demo to perfection when it won't be in the full game. If I ever get in contact with Ted Hegemann, I will come back to this demo and remake it to be better.

You can expect the full Ted the Caver demo to be playable and mostly polished by the end of this month (so in about a week). For the next story I turn into a game, I will be looking into getting an actual voice actor since I have the authors blessing to use their work in my full game.

I hope you all are excited as I am to see this game through to the end. Thanks for all the support.

I updated the last (new) part of this demo. It should be a lot closer to 15 minutes now. And it's extra spooky.
